Though they both grew up in Atlanta, their story didn’t begin until they met in Los Angeles—making it all the more special to gather 300 friends and family from both coasts for an unforgettable night.
The ceremony took place in a draped-off section of the industrial brick venue, creating an intimate and romantic setting. The couple wrote their own vows and jumped the broom before guests moved into a vibrant reception space. Black satin linens, mahogany chairs, and gold napkins grounded the design, while pops of color came through in the bridesmaids’ dresses, bold floral centerpieces, and lush greenery on reclaimed wood estate tables. Pampas grass, hanging floral chandeliers, and 5-foot candelabra installations gave the room texture and drama.
But the true heartbeat of the evening was the music. With DJ Artistic flown in from LA, the dance floor stayed packed as early 2000s R&B and hip hop filled the space. Guests called it “the Black millennial wedding of the year,” and we couldn’t agree more. From the Lego cake nod to the groom’s favorite hobby to the vibrant florals the bride dreamed of, every detail was intentional, personal, and unforgettable.
